and the spirit of the jazz age and The Great Gatsby!
It'll be the Cat's Meow!

Saturday, March 29
7 - 10 p.m.
Historic Sarles Boatyard & Marina
808 Boucher Avenue

1920s womanthe big read annapolis - the great gatsbySarles will be transformed into a classy speakeasy juice joint, and the party will have a nautical motif, green lights, a fashion show with local notables (big cheeses), food, flowing Champagne, hooch, historic boats and vehicles, and live 1920s music by the Original Crabtown Stompers! Attendees must be in the proper "dress" of the time. It will be The Event of the Season, that is, the bee's knees!

Don't be a wet blanket! Get a wiggle on with this the hotsy totsy lingo of the 1920s and you'll be hitting on all six cylinders! Ah, applesauce! For a translation, click here.

Look for the vintage car at the Sarles arrival area and make your own "Red Carpet" grand entrance! See VIPs arrive by boat, and meet a couple of 1920s "gangsters" and their molls. Great fun!

In keeping with the Prohibition, it's BYOF: "Bring your own Flask." No bluenoses allowed!
